Hiberniae proregi, Episcopo Cantuarientsi, ac randem regi ipsi, aliisque vita adempta, & ad Angicanam Metamorphosin via est aperta  This is a collection of Latin documents published by the royalist Pierre du Moulin (1601-1684). He was a French-English Anglican exiled in Amsterdam, the work providing a history of the civil war, particularly outlining dramatic events in London such as the execution of Charles I in 1649. The folding plate shows the execution at Whitehall of Charles I. A lovely complete copy of this early work.
